At the regular meeting of the Lodge on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, the membership of the Lodge unanimously voted to endorse Bro. Craig Guy of Jersey City Lodge #4 for Hudson County Executive, and to endorse Bro. Anthony L. Romano, Jr. of this Lodge for re-election as Hudson County Commissioner for the 5th District. Below is a brief summary of each candidate:

Craig Guy for Hudson County Executive

Craig Guy is the Chief of Staff to the current County Executive, Tom Di Gise. Bro. Guy is a current member of F.O.P. Jersey City Lodge #4, and served as a Jersey City Police Officer for 25 years, rising to the rank of Lieutenant before retiring. He is a lifelong Hudson County resident and a devoted father and grandfather.
Having a strong public safety background, Craig knows how to keep Hudson County safe. We believe that Craig has the experience and vision to solve Hudson County’s challenges and make its communities more affordable for the middle class and working families.
Craig Guy is a man who truly loves his community and wants it to reach its full potential.
It is with great pleasure that we join with the other F.O.P. Lodges in Hudson County to endorse Craig Guy's election as Hudson County's next County Executive.

Anthony L. Romano, Jr. for Hudson County Commissioner

Anthony L. Romano is a third-generation Italian-American from Hoboken, NJ. Anthony served as a member of the Hoboken Police Department for 32 years, rising to the rank of Captain.
Anthony was first elected as a Hudson County Commissioner in 2009 representing the county's 5th District, which includes Hoboken and Jersey City Heights. During his tenure, Commissioner Romano has worked dilligently to get as many services from Hudson County for Hoboken and Jersey City while fighting against county tax increases. He is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, and is also chair of the county Public Safety Committee. In addition, Anthony is currently serving as Deputy Director of Public Safety for the City of Hoboken. Additionally, Bro. Romano is a long-time member in good standing of F.O.P. Lodge #46, where he will serve as the Executive Vice-President of the Lodge It is with great pleasure that we endorse our favorite son, Anthony L. Romano, Jr. for re-election as Hudson County Commissioner for the 5th District
